WARSTEINER at the 2013 Food Film Fests

Whether you are a foodie, film buff or just someone who appreciates different foods from around the world, the New York City Food Film Fest is made for you! Described by The New York Times as “a dinner and a movie. . .elevated to an art form,” the NYCFFF and its sister events in Chicago and Charleston, South Carolina, are known as competitive film festivals where the food featured on the screen is also served to the audience for a multi-sensory, full-bodied experience.

Through documentaries, features and short films, the festivals showcase the best, and the most memorable, of the world’s appealing foods. A panel of food and film celebrities presents awards in multiple categories including: Best Feature, Best Short, Best Super-Short, Best Food Porn, Food Filmmaker of the Year and the Audience Choice Award.

Following a very successful sponsorship at the 2012 NYCFFF, Warsteiner is once again an active player at this highly acclaimed food and film spectacle. As the “Exclusive Imported Beer” of both the New York City (October 23-28) and Chicago (November 21-23) Food Film Fests this year, Warsteiner is highlighted in a 30-second short played before each film at both events.  Additionally, during a special event segment our very own brew-master will speak about the quality, craftsmanship and ingredients that make Warsteiner such a quaffable brew.

An innovative “Warsteiner Beer Cocktail Menu” highlights our premium beer as a key ingredient while the head chef at each event prepares a dish with Warsteiner to be shared with the attendees. But rest assured, WARSTEINER will be served not only in food form, but also in our natural, cold, refreshing liquid form.

With its focus on food prepared with passion and innovation while emphasizing sustainability, this festival represents a perfect match for Warsteiner and its commitment to authenticity and brewing excellence with a responsible use of resources.

As such, the festival also benefits important local non-profit organizations, such as the Food Bank for New York City, The Good Food Project and GrowFood Carolina in an effort to give back to the communities. So, mark your calendar, check out the website http://thefoodfilmfestival.com, and let’s get inspired by some tasty treats!
