2017 Perfect Pour Champion Crowned in Las Vegas

Most beer fans know how to tap a decent beer, right? Nice head, good carbonation, and the glass filled properly to the rim… While you may be the keg master of the backyard barbecue, it’s a whole different ballgame when it comes to competing for the Warsteiner Perfect Pour Championship. As we all know, a perfectly poured Warsteiner is a piece of art, and it takes passion, finesse and exquisite timing to do it right!

The 3rd Annual Warsteiner Perfect Pour Off took place in late August in Las Vegas.  After months of elimination rounds among bartenders across the USA, it was the moment of truth for three of the nation’s top bartenders. The beautiful Franklin Lounge at the super hip Delano Hotel on the world famous Las Vegas strip provided a spectacular backdrop for this highly anticipated contest: Who can pour a perfect Warsteiner? The pressure was palpable as a lot was on the line for our three finalists, including the grand prize of airfare and hotel accommodations for six days and five nights in Germany and a visit to the Warsteiner Brewery.

After a nail-biter of a finish, Harald Neuweg of Coral Gables, Florida, was crowned the winner. This is Harold’s second time winning the Warsteiner Perfect Pour contest. “Harold was very consistent with all three of his pours including his final pour of the night which was a work of art. Warsteiner salutes Harald on his second Perfect Pour title,” said Brian Reames, Warsteiner USA VP of Marketing. Two thumbs up for our two-time champion!
