Lente Kabinet 2013

The Netherlands - As the sun came out over the festival grounds Het Twiske, the 2nd “Lente Kabinet” or “Spring Cabinet” was well underway. Organized by the well-known Amsterdam music agency Dekmantel, this outdoor festival was attended by approximately five thousand music fans who basked in the easy-going, friendly atmosphere while dancing to an eclectic mix of music ranging from funk, soul, house, techno and bass.

Held on June 1, this one-day festival featured an impressive lineup of top musicians and DJs from the international dance scene. Some of the spectacular sets included Four Tet, Bicep, Soul Clap, and especially Levon Vincent got the crowd grooving. The additional cultural programming was fully curated by the irreverent Eddie the Eagle Museum Amsterdam including a subversive and fun “Best Of” art exhibit.

Following the sponsorship of progressive dance events in Germany such as MELT! and Time Warp, this year’s Lente Kabinet was the first electronic music festival in the Netherlands sponsored by Warsteiner who supplied beer for this event, served by special Warsteiner waiters dressed in white shirts and black ties and bartending from a Warsteiner-branded bar.

Warsteiner will continue this successful collaboration with Dekmantel in August at the Dekmantel festival in Amsterdam where Warsteiner will be supplying the beer and additional premium services for the enjoyment of the festival visitors. So let’s go August 23-24, 2013 to the Amsterdam Forest—can’t wait to see you there!
